New Gas Guzzler !

Well folks went a bit overboard today with the Christmas shopping and ended up buying this !!
Its not the oil burner either .... Its the full monty 4.8L V8 with 360 bhp. Its an absolute brute and get it next week

Good big bus though, my mate had 1 and they really do handle well all considered.

 

My Evo 7 was 8mpg so thats not so bad then !! lol

 

I cry in my st220 at 21mpg!

 

That Evo 7 was a nightmare as I could only run it on Shell Vpower or equivalent and the nearest Shell garage was 13 miles away so used to crawl through at 50 mph to fill up and crawl home again. used to get allsorts overtaking me giving me the w**ker sign ! .
Used to get 110-120 max out of a tank . it was a pure petrolaholic ! lol .
Was good fun when you pressed the loud pedal though and uneashed 400 horses ! .

So impractical but good fun

 

Was it heavily modified!

I fancy a Evo 10, looking at them at the mo

 

Yeah it was and there were receipts for 12k of mods when I bought it !!. Suspension was over 2k alone, AP 6 pot brake conversion , all remapped , exhaust , turbo engine work etc etc. Was a frightening thing really but great fun. They are ferociously expensive to run though. Dont know aout the 10 tbh but that 7 was a fortune.

 

They are a heavy bus, its great blowing them away at lights on the bike

 

Can do that with any vehicle though ! lol
