Got up to take bike for mot and no pressure at clutch lever!
No fluid leaking anywhere and tbh that's about as far as my mechanical knowledge goes.
Not a happy bunny, can't get bike picked up until next Tuesday grrrr!
Bike just stalls when engaging first.

it may be that the clutch plates have stuck in the basket , try let the bike warm up to see if the heat expands the metal and frees it off , might work might not ,but what have you to lose?

Fluid res mate, gonna try letting the bike warm up, could be air in the system or possible slave cylinder, that's what I'm being told from my mechanic! Any other suggestions would be more than welcome !

Could be the "o" rings on the plunger at the lever, an easy fix if you get a seal kit

    (i'm assuming it's an 04-7)

it's very easy to see if the slave cylinder is working, basically take the 3 bolts out on it,no fluid etc will come out so dont worry.then just puch the centre piston back, and then try your lever, you will see the centre piston pushing out.if yes, then it's your clutch plates or related issue,if no then it's air in the line,or leaky master cylinder.

before you replace the slave cylinder, try pushing the shaft that goes into the engine block to loosen off the clutch plates,it will take a bit of pressure to push it.

just remember to push the piston on the slave cylinder back in before you put it back on.

if it turns out to be the slave cylinder (which i very much doubt) i have 1 here you can have cheap.
