Hello all, After 18 years of riding I finally decided it was time to get a blade, especially after meeting a bloke in his 60's coming back from Misano on one last year. I've only the one (admittedly poor) photo so far as its been either snowing or freezing every weekend since I picked her up, but here she is ; Looking forward to this years trip to the Black Forest and the B500 to try and keep up with the locals. I do have a question though, she's an RR6 on an 07 plate and every other one I see has got black wheels, are they the standard colour or am I the odd one out who hasn't got my wheels powder coated? I will be taking the gold pen off the tyres as well!

i agree i think the wheels look quite good, great to have another yorkshire boy on here, can you narrow down your location a little ?
I think they look fine as well, to be honest I was only wondering if the previous owner had changed them because a bad thing had happened involving volvos trees or kerbs and I'd overlooked it in my excitement to get on the thing.

Hi Pete, I would think a previous owner must have had them done in silver as all black blades I have seen have black wheels as standard. Bike looks great with the silver wheels IMO. Nice to e different as well.
Welcome Peter. I also agree with all the others, the silver wheels look great given everything else including the frame is black.
