Wifes tame bike mechanic.

    Hi all,
    Have to own up and say the 2010 Blade in our house belongs to the other half, but I get to maintain it. Cool bike with full carbon bodywork, Leo Vinci GP exhaust, levers, sets etc.
    Look forward to joining in any discussions and hopefully you guys will put me right when I get the maintenance round my neck.

    One or two 1/2 wits, a couple 1/2 arses and ( with reverend deference to St Paddy's day) numerous 1/2 cut at the moment, but 1/2 owners, now they are rare.

    Welcome Acko. You can't share membership though, get your better half on here too.

    Other half has just pointed out that while I have been cleaning her bike she has been doing the ironing....so Phantom should be careful what he wishes for!

    I'd not want to swap roles in this respect. My wife's idea of cleaning the car is dragging the back of her hand across the windscreen when it's misty, you know, the hand full of rings with tiny little sharp jewels in them...

    Welcome to the forum Acko, you can't beat having a bike loving woman in the house, it makes it so much easier when trying to explain how much you really, really need that new carbon part! :D
