What's that BM like mate. I've thought about getting 1 for touring with the girlfriend. Just not sure if it would be better than the blackbird.

The k1300 is quite sophisticated, the suspension can be altered by the flick of a switch between one up/two up with or without luggage. You can then select comfort/normal or sport while on the fly. It really works well with a passenger. ABS works well, traction control for wet weather. Heated grips, trip computers with all the info you could need. Quick shift and shaft drive for chain less ease when touring. Overall 50mpg and Busa quick.
You will have to pay 8/10 grand for a fully loaded one, 14 grand new.
I have also owned a Blackbird, superb sports tourer, not as sophisticated as the K but at 5/6 grand for a good used Blackbird the K is not 4 grand better. The Honda was ultra reliable, forget BMW reliability...it's a myth.

It's hard to believe that even now the blackbird is still so good. Honda really are missing a trick by no longer having it in they're line up.
