    Hi all I've started a new group for the east midlands if anyone's interested?

    It would be good to meet up with some of you lot for ride outs.

    the snake is good, woodhead pass too, cat and fiddle. everywhere in the peak district is good, but nine times out of ten end up in matlock bath at some point for a brew. all good rides but blighted sometimes by the filth. even helicopters goofing at you.

    I (used to) like riding in the Peaks but i find that the pace is so slow due to the blanket 50, everyone is shit scared to overtake, and over react if you do! Find it a bit frustrating!

    Didnt relise it was 50mph up there. At least you can take in the view going that slow!

    The Cat and Fiddle was over two years ago its not worth a carrot now .Matlock is the same all roads leading in are 50 and the last time i was there 6 years ago even the pissin traffic warden was grassing to the cops about small plates . The main street is full of fat Harley riding grease balls walking up and down scoffing fish and chips .I agree with Lee let them have it and do your own thing;)
