The MX has helped so much with riding , i am normally shattered after the first day but was not even sore after 2 days on track . getting out on the mx bike every weekend has done wonders for my bike fitness and kept me pretty sharp as well , not to mention free compared to running a superbike around on track .
Now that's a good idea on a different form of fitness I would like. Giving me ideas Shane now, and not sure the wife would like it ?
Forgiveness is easier to get than permission , so buy the bike and worry about it latter :-}}} nice little vid to show what our track days are like here
You may feel it on you old hips tho Matt, I do a bit of green laning nothing as extreme as MX it bloody hurts but something's are worth the pain either that or I'm just an idiot! Shanes great vid mate looks like you had a great day!
H When I first started back on the mx bike , it was 3 days before I could walk down the stairs normally , but the more I do the better it is getting not getting really sore any more just a bit of stiffness in the old bones . As you said some things are worth the pain and it's a very cheap way of keeping sharp on the bike and fitness up , also jumping a 95-100 footer is just as much of a rush as going for the brakes at the end of the straight doing 180 mph after you go flying past the 200 yard braking marking )
Spent the last 8 years having all my bones screwed back togeather, joints replaced and learning to walk again. I might stick to the tree roots for now lol
