Hi 1000rr.co.uk world. I'm on the hunt, Specifically for a baffle to fit my Beowolf exhaust on my track bike. Preferably to 98DB if you can? The exhaust is a trioval, the exhaust outlet is approx 55mm 'Chinese tape measure' and should have a hole in the bottom for the retaining nut Here's a couple of pictures, if anyone can help? Cash waiting. In anticipation I thank you. :edit: that should be Beowulf
Gary, I had a Beowulf on my last bike and the blokes at the factory in Halifax were really helpful when I was having an issue with gaskets not fitting correctly, told me to call in, and they sorted it for me for nowt, have you tried calling them to see if they'll just send you a baffle ?
Yes Pete, I have just pinged an email to them this morning, thought I'd give the thread a 24hr soak first 'cover all angles' Thinking I should get sorted quite quickly once they get back in the office on monday and I get to chat to them
I'm sure Andy @ beowolf will sort ya soon as. He's a good lad. Whats the zorst like? Is it fruity? Only asking cos i was gonna get one.
I can't comment too much on the sound at present Blaggers, I've only heard the bike ticking over as yet, well with the odd blip on the happy grip I do know it's putting out 105db with the baffle out, just hoping a replacement will bring it down enough for Oulton Park etc 102db, Just trying to sort out as I'd be gutted if I got turned away. For any 98db track days I was going to buy a standard can to put on, thinking about it, I'll just boycot them and go with the louder days
All sorted. Beowulf emailed me first thing this morning. Baffle £18 plus £2.50 postage. Better than a standard exhaust. Thanks for input guys. Topic closed
Cheers Al, all is cool, Chris did supply a baffle that kind of fitted but as he never used it? He couldn't verify what the actual db level it was when fitted, I just didn't want to take the risk of getting taken off on my first lap. So the one I've got they reckon between 95-97db.
