Noisy git. The starter motor on my blade has more torque than that poor little bike had after he destroyed it with that stupid fartuba.

I felt like shaking my fist at him but was too busy making the DSC light flicker on the dashboard.

Back to the thread though. How does it compare with your Firestorm, Steve?

Oh yeah....That's odd. I went back into the post to edit it and pose the last question and it's made it a new post. What's going on there then.

Or did I just say that.....

    Good rant Ken!
The SV is a more modern machine than the firestorm.
The SV has more overall power, but I think the storm had more low down torque. It wheelies out of corners without even trying.
Handling wise, the SV is a little more nimble.
I felt the storm looked a bit dated and there were very few after market parts. You know I like to mod these things a little!
Other than that, they are not dissimilar rides.

Yep. That's starting to gleam with an uncommon lustre and brilliance.

    Top effort!

Kinnell, that's tight for room in there!

I can see how the Constands a real asset in this instance!

    yeah, it was like Christmas.
Tuesday saw two boxes arrive with my exhausts.
    Wednesday was another 5 boxes.
Karen said - remind me why you got this bike.....because it is cheaper than the last one? how much are you spending on top of what you paid for it???
They just don't understand do they.

Bit of a story, but I won a cheap pair of blue flame evos on eBay.
Fitted them tonight and prefer them to the first set I purchased.
Haven been for a run yet as its raining, but assuming they run ok I will sell the powertechs.

Thats why I didnt get the carbon can for the CB1K, you can lose the can/cans in a sea of blandness if you over stealth :(

sometimes you can go to far, I think Steve has struck the perfect balance there ...

But I know we all have different tastes ... which is a good thing
