Hi all,i'm Ross from Perth. Been riding for 6 years on a 600 RR7 and was very happy until i sat on the Fireblade at the Scottish Bike Show this year. Having turned 40 in december decided to treat myself, sold my 600 a week after the bike show, and thanks to Paul at Doble who did a deal i couldn't say no to,i now have a fantastic new blade in the garage Just need some decent weather to go for a ride(poured with rain 5 mins after i took photos) Just waiting on the carbon mudguard to finish it off.
Welcome and enjoy! Also just a heads up- is that an abs? I think there maybe an issue with alot of huggers on the abs models. May be worth looking into
Welcome to the forum mate. Yes its an ABS. Nice bike! I have exactly the same one There are issues with rear huggers rubbing on the bulge of the black undertray. It depends on how much weight you are putting over the rear wheel/how much the rear spring is being compressed. If you aren't carrying a pillion and aren't too lardy it shouldn't be an issue.
Welcome Ross, nice looking can what the model make etc Stay away from Powerbronze abs hugger I have one and they are rubbish!!
Cheers everyone for the heads up about the huggers,it confirms what i thought would happen as honda list theirs as not suitable for ABS model. It's the carbon front mudguard i'm getting so hopefully no problems there. It's the Scorpion RP-1 GP and it sounds amazing with the dB killer out
Had the option to have the R&G tail tidy fitted but I'm partial to the odd weekend away and I reckoned my panniers would interfere with the indicators if I fitted one, otherwise it would have definitely been on.

Hi Ross, Like you i just got my Fireblade few weeks ago and what a joy to ride, it's an awesome bike. I have an ABS and it needs a hugger, as the guys have said highlighted the ABS behind the seat, eats into the space therefore it causes issues. I have found one out in the states which overcomes this issue i have attached link which you will see, how it sits below the suspension, so no issues.
