filmed by spike following me,when he could keep up.... i wasn't going slow but shows how much spike has in reserve.was an awesome day,and cant rate spike highly enough and this is my 3rd day with him now, well worth the small outlay for a great day,but not only the track side of things, but bike set up,tips on maintanence and just general good craic.
Fantastic Scooby. Awsome riding there dude. Now as an up and coming Oulton newb this video is going to get some serious hammer from me, nothing like watching back and getting an idea of the turns lines etc "it's all about the lines Thefirebloke eh " Just one thing though scooby if I may say so? Please don't tell me that was just the novice group warm up
not quite gary if i'm there i'll give you a few tips on lines, parts of track to avoid etc.(not just the gravel ) just uploading a few more vids,so will be online tomorrow
All advice welcome of course im sure my first two sessions will mainly consist of... A getting used to a new to me track bike. B getting used to the track. C taking the stupid grin off my face But it would be great if you show, it's going to be a great day. Incidently. If you was timing? What was you lapping at? Just out of curiosity.
best lap 148.1 (rolling) with an optimum of 1.45.4,just needed a proper clear lap and yea,1st things 1st,get comfy on the bike, get an idea where the track goes, then in the aft if you have any major issues with a part of the track we can have a look. when you there next?
That's a good pace My next "first" session is on the 31st of July scooby. There are 7 confirmed now from the forum, no pressure then for popping the track day cherry
ok cool,i'll be on it. another vid, changed the gearing a bit to make the bike a bit less flighty, but not getting the same drive out of the corners with it yet
