What was your verdict of the track? It's so close to me I am tempted to give it a go.....

I like Bedford, (but the only other I’ve been on is Snetterton). It’s a great track, fast bends, uber long straights and twisty chicanes, and 1 or 2 hairpins that were not that tight. Its got tonnes of run off so forgiving if you get it wrong, which was lucky as I could not scrub enough speed off after the long straight so has to use the run off in the following chichane.

There was one bend just before the long straight that claimed a few though, I’d say 95% of spills happened there – not sure why. The track itself is featureless so it takes a few laps to work out where you supposed to be going

The only downer is the logistics of the track. If you have a van you need to unload everything you need first thing, then you will be asked to park up a fair bit away. A shuttle bus is available all day to ferry you. You are only allowed to return with your van at the end of the day. Power, it was OK on that day but it is known to be sketchy so many brought in generator just in case.

I liked it long and quite technical and a lot of left handers . Track is flat no bad tarmac except a drain in the middle of one of the kurbs ! . mostly 3rd 4th and 5th and the big long back straight which to be honest is a bit too long but id go again definitely

    Nice one slick! ;)

Do they have fuel on sale at the track cos for me it would be easiest to just ride there (12miles)

Yes buts its £1.60 per litre!. It's hidden round the back of one of the warehouses so hard to fine first time! Just head for the big silver chimney.
