I'm after a waterproof backpack. Needs to be properly waterproof as will have to cope with 60 mile commute, so no seperate cover, and have a decent harness system. Think Kriega quality with carrier bag price
There's a few Ortlieb-style ones that are waterproof and cheaper than Kriega. Think Kappa do one. Ride did a review of rucksacks. May be able to find it on the interweb. If you do go the Kriega route don't get the r35 cos it's not waterproof. The r30 is by all accounts.
Well having ummmed and arrrreeedd I finallyu decided what to go for. I looked at the knox k pack but discounted that as it is only fully waterproof with the extra cover and didn't fancy having to stop to fit it. Also considered the Oxford Aqua 25R but decided against that as the waist buckle is at the front and didn't want any more paint taken off my tank. So spoke with the finance department (aka the wife) and I am going to blow several months of beer money on a Kriega, probably the R30 as the R25 is fully waterproof. Now on the best price hunt
Barsteward mate, Demon Tweeks quoted me 144 quid but I just found one for 135 and free postage at infinity motorcycles...................
I've got a white kappa waterproof daysack which have had for 2 years now and still going strong and water proof and a lot cheaper than Kriega and in my opinion just as good! WA402 - Soft Luggage http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kappa-Waterproof-Rucksack-TKW745/dp/B007MLKP00
Kriega R30 ordered from Demon Tweeks. A little bit pricier then from Infinity, but sometimes it isn't only about the money, even when you don't have much of it at the time.
Appreciated Went with DT as Andy did the leg work and I know he has helped people on here before. He also did me a great deal
