Now just need to upset the boss. Wonder if I'll get Gardening Leave ;) Only have a week's notice and have at least 6 days holiday left so should be plenty of bike time coming up :D

Congrats mate. I'm almost certain my boss would give me gardening leave. There's an awful lot of system damage and goodwill revocation I could do here on my way out the door.

Just woke up. 22 hour shift that finished at 4am to blame. Other half at work, looks nice outside so an afternoon bimble beckons.

Well I got sent home whilst they figure out what to do. Not surprised considering the line of work the company is in (Anti-virus).

Got home and had a call from a consultancy I spent 2 happy years with who asked if they could convince me to come work with them again. This time it is in Birmingham and for 6 months initially, on more money than I was on with them in London, and lots more than is on offer on the 3 month role I got the email for earlier :D

With this much luck I think I am going to try my luck with the missus tonight. Time to visit Sainsburys for a steak shop ;)

Sat, and passed the final exam for AAT (Level 2)... means I am half a qualified accounting technician... unfortunately, just the easy half!

yesterday i got home from work weary as fk due to being stood around doing fk all, all day in the blazing sun :/

got home, got on the couch, had a brew, booted up my lappy, deleted some spam emails, then noticed one from seetickets.com, confirming ticket delivery.....

then i though oh shit. its tonight! 6.10pm, got a ticket to watch zz top at 7!

chucked some jeans on and fkt off, got there just in time for a quick beer before the doors opened.
awesome. fkin brilliant they was :)

the support band, not a clue who they were - some raw hillbillies from missouri, playing a one string bass, which is basically a broom with a string on it!
one guy was playing a washboard & spoons through a wah wah pedal and flanger lol! never heard awt like it in my life :D

fkin ace. then had a kebab on me way home. job done.

i was goner go for a blast on the bike for a hour - just as well i checked my mail eh!

done an ECU reset for the hell of it, the last owner must have had
the battery out as now the throttle response seems sharper which I
didnt expect....the idle surge is still there but not as bad as it was

Dropped Jo (the wife) down at the training centre for her mod 2 test, just waiting for her to get back.

Good news is she's passed, very proud of her.
