despite god knows how many subframes.... and being "well used" before he even left, the old gsxr has hit 50k on some brutal roads.... fair play to the big man's enthusiasm to get it that far!!

2/3rd though russia and i have no doubt he'll get that bike round.... hopefully it'll get some loving in japan to set it up for the next leg of the adventure which might be a bit easier on the machine.

this pic says it all really. on a 1000cc superbike.

    respect mate!

Cheers lads, real adventure now, loving Russia, what a place!

I'm in Irkutsk just now and heading to Lake Baikal and Ulan-Ude tomorrow, before heading South to Mongolia. Plan to be in Ulaanbataar for the weekend and hopefully meeting Ed March. He's the chap who rode a C90 all the way from Oz to UK, and even in the North Pole!!

Loving this stuff, how's work? :))

Afternoon peoples, how's it all going?

I'm now in Bangkok, Thailand waiting the arrival of the Beast from Japan. It should hopefully arrive tomorrow afternoon so I'll have to wait until Monday to get her through customs - hopefully!

I'm just doing the next blog post now that will cover South Korea and Japan, both incredible places which I heartily recommend you visit if you ever can.

A wee plea though please if I can. Although I have a main financial sponsor onboard, in the form of Delta Energy Services Ltd, they have provided about 2/3rds of the total trip budget. I still require about £16K to get all the way round. So, I'm on the hunt for other sponsors to fill this void and help cover the cost of shipping and fuel.

I've done a wee promo vid that you can view at TeapotOne Promo 1 - YouTube

Please take a wee look and share with anyone/everyone you think may be able to help. There's still plenty of room on the bike and lid for Corporate logos, and the national press are starting to take an interest too. Appeared in the Scottish Daily Record last month and now the Telegraph have been in touch wanting to do a spread. Only set to get bigger the further I go, so get on board to reap the exposure that'll follow.

Right that's my pitch over..... for now.

Still loving it lads, this really is living the dream.

Hope you're all well, I'm already looking forward to the next tour once I'm back home. Jimbo Vills has kept me uptodate with your track exploits - North V South. Brilliant.

    Cheers for now,

    Bruce

It's tough on the road Lee, no time for that shaving lark you see. Got bandits to beat off (no not like that Jimbo!) and Damsels to rescue.

Aye ok, I couldn't be arsed shaving and ended up looking like a gay vaguey in mucky leathers. I'm now sporting a far more masculine 'Blue Oyster Bar' tache for Movember.

Glad you're liking the Fast Bikes articles, I'm just doing the next one now actually.

Approaching crunch time now for the trip. The funds from Delta only get me as far as Oz and I reach there by the end of November. Just trying to secure some more sponsorship but it's not looking good, so if you know anyone with a spare £16K, please send them my way!

Either way I'll be heading home from Oz. One way is on a plane possibly before Crimbo. The other is on the Beast via America and I'll be home on the 21st June 2014.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Hope you're all well.

Ha Ha, thanks bud, but my balls are like pancakes now, that gixxer seat has lost any padding it ever had!

Just in Malaysia waiting for a wee vegetable boat to come in to port tomorrow so I can load the Beast on and ship her over to Indonesia. I sh^&e you not, I'll get some pics tomorrow of them loading her on. There's now no way of getting your bike between Malaysia and Indonesia unless you fly as they cancelled the only ferry. But there's still a wee boat that runs veg from one country to the other, so an enterprising soul came up with the idea of charging us travellers to get out bikes on it!

It'll be a miracle if I see her again, but all going well, Monday I pick her up at the port in Belawan, then ride South to Jakarta.

Sorry to hold the bucket out folks, but I've had to start a 'Crowdfunding' page for the trip to try and help cover the last leg home through the America's. I don't expect money for nothing, there's a variety of things you can buy for your money.

Would appreciate you having a look and sharing it amongst your contacts as much as possible please.

Ha Ha, Cheers Colin, just got the notification through from Sponsume. Really appreciate your support bud, thank you.

Aye the lads in Japan were a great bunch, had a great laugh with those boys.

Now in Jakarta, Java and heading to Bali by the weekend hopefully. Then Island hop to East Timor before shipping over to Darwin in Oz. Hopefully Sydney bound for Crimbo.

Trip still hangs in the balance due to lack of finances to cover the last section up through the America's . There's time yet though, you never know eh!

Cheers for the support bud, hope you're keeping well.

    Bruce

All good Raymondo and welcome aboard!

Just arrived in Darwin, Oz, and fallen in love with the country already. Really needed a wee taste of normality again so this has hit the spot.

Just waiting on the Beast arriving in the ship now, then it has to go through quarantine inspection, and then get serviced before I head South next week sometime.

    Loving it.

    How's you bud?
