Which oil for track bike?

    For some reason I've got this section down as for track bikes too, but feel free to move it if I should be posting this question in Maintenance.

    Do any of you guys on here with track bikes change the grade/type of oil that your bikes use? My standard V4 Triumph 600 quotes 15w/50 (JASO MA for wet clutch), but I'm wondered with it being for track use if I should alter the grade or buy a specific brand?

    i use cheap halfords stuff (i think 40/5 but cant remeber exactly) but i change my oil every 3/4 t/days

    I don't have a track day bike but would still stick to the same grade oil but probably change it more often due to the stresses your be putting on the engine

    I stick to the same grade.. 5w 40 and use Fully Syth, i'd rather spend a tenner more on oil, than £2k on an engine, so for me its Castrol all the way
