Hi All, :yo: I've been recommended to join here by Si. (cheers mate) so here I am. Haven't had much chance to look around yet, but as I currently have a 2006 Black blade (the Dark Destroyer) and it's the 3rd Blade I've owned, this seems like the place to be
Hi Pitty Welcome to 1000rr. Si's turning into a proper recruiter. We're still not going to pay him, though. Pretty soon now you're going to get nagged about posting pictures of your 'Blades, so I'd advise you get onto that. If you've not done it before, there's shed loads of advice on here how to. Cheers Ken
Thanks for the warm welcomes. Dan, I am indeed said sticker dude, but don't worry I'm not here to peddle my wares, although I'd obviously be very glad to help out where I can with that if you don't already have a resident sticker dude? I'm definitely not wanting to tread on any toes. Si, you're too kind mate, I do love my track days, but still have much to learn. So, now then, where do I have to post some pics, before I get into trouble? :typing:
ok here goes, lets see if I can get a few pics of my blades on here.... My 1st two don't really qualify for this forum, but they are blades none the less so heres my 1st 1999 RRX (918cc) it took me 3 months to track down a dealer that had one in these colours even though I was buying brand new! Followed by Blade No.2, My RR3 (954cc) and finally the one that qualifies properly here 'The Dark Destroyer' RR6
Hey Pitty, didn't realise you were Si's graphics dude to start with, else I wouldn't have laid on the newbie advice. He speaks very highly of you and that's good enough for us. I've just had a sken at your website. There's some nice work on there, mate, well done.
Thanks mate, it's nice to know that my reputation precedes me  Glad you like what I get up to, and hope I can help out here too? I forgot to post up a pic of my current blade in track trim
If i was to PM you an image mate , What restrictions to what you could produce would i be limited to ? After something for the car TBH cheers fella
What type of restrictions are you thinking of dan? My vinyls are all cut, as I don't currently have the equipment to produce printed vinyl, but you can do a surprising amount with cut vinyl. Please PM or email me your image and I'll take a look for you
Just wondering how detailed i can go and how much colour i can use .. Ill PM you some images of what i was thinking Cheers mate
hi mate and nice bikes. my mate had a 99 blade when it was only a few years old and i borrowed it for the weekend and really loved it. wouldnt mind a similar one myself as a second choice.
Cheers guys, I loved my '99 Blade. The colours just worked perfectly, who would have thought that cadbury's dairy milk colours would work on a sportsbike :eyebrows:
