£165 from motogb on eBay. They have loads in stock! Why the bike don't have these as standard I don't know! Great bit of kit and so easy to use.

Haven't been out on the bike for the last week on account of my tonsillectomy but felt a bit more chipper today so I thought I'd head out for a quick ride but then noticed that apparently when my bike recently went in for a service to the main dealer they helpfully decided to lube my chain for me. Not sure exactly what chain lube they used but it looks like it was Castrol Flingtec or Motul No-stay-on because my freshly powder-coated rear wheel and the back half of the bike were absolutely COVERED in the stuff. I tried to clean it off with Muc-Off but it didn't even touch it even with a brush. Resorted to cleaning the entire wheel with a WD-40 soaked rag and then the same thing with the chain. Then did the whole lot again with Muc-Off. It's taken ages. I coulda cried :D

Fitted an Acuman gear indicator yesterday and so programmed it whilst on the paddock stands. Went to take it out today and took it off the stands without noticing I still had the stand up........crunch!!!

Thankfully no damage to bodywork other than a mark on the single seat cowl which I've ordered touch up paint for. The problem was the screen which smashed. So I've ordered a Powerbronze replacement. Not happy as I was supposed to be going to Oliver's Mount tomorrow as well :(

I downloaded a map for my Power Commander V which I've just had installed - then took it for a test run. Not sure if it was the placebo effect or there was an actual difference?

I think I need to take my bike to a Dyno test center and have it properly installed and calibrated.

    Any thoughts?

    Also today - I have been a busy boy....lol

I bought a after market headlight unit from the states the other week, all in it was £76 which is a real bargain; the quality is excellent to. Anyhow, I placed it in the oven and disconnected the lens from the housing ready to receive the projectors. It was a very simple job and took minimal effort; one to note is that a fan assisted oven only requires 3-4 min's on 160C-200C

I'll be posting a YouTube video of the whole installation

Got some new Dunlop 212's fitted, non abs Blade and no problem with standard hugger. Stompgrips and Rand G offset bobbins and mirror blank plates fitted to . Even in the sun on the stand the new rubber was sticky n soft:cool: 3 days on track next week at Le Mans. Whoop whoop. My chinese fairings are stuck in a warehouse in the UK (motogp Repsol 2013 colours, due to some plank putting them in the wrong pile...now China has to raise a complaint to get them to me, oh well, @*it happens.)
