Hello fellow bladers,I am pleased to be the proud owner of a 2012 abs blade in victory red,I don't know what I was doing riding Kawasakis for so long, this is the best bike I have ever had by a million miles, though little concerned about the abs failure thread:eek:saying that no probs with mine. Will post some pictures soon, but mods so far are R&G tail tidy,Honda seat cover and Michelin Pilot 3 tyres, trying to decide which hugger to get, prefer the smaller ones, why doesn't a 12 grand bike come with one as standard?Special thanks to Remal for sorting out a little forum problem for me,cheers

    BJ

hey - hows it going - great to see you here - look forward to your pics - yeah, i have a r&g tail tidy too - no seat cover - i run pirelli roso corsas and no hugger, cause theyre for wosses in my opinion but i wont hold it against you even if its a small one :)

Hi and welcome mate,Victory Red,great choice:)
Got an R&G hugger after seeing one fitted on someone else's bike on the forum, quite small and doesn't interfere with the larger undertray on the abs model.

Welcome, those pilot 3 will look chunky on the blade, let us know what you think of then, they are supposed to be great in wet. But as I don't ride in wet, what are they like in dry.

Thanks for the welcomes,I feel part of the family already!,the R&G hugger is looking favourite, sorry BW,got to have one,I'm a little obsessive with keeping my bikes clean and spotless! The Pilot 3 tyres seem pretty good, went for a spirited ride on the roads of north Lincolnshire last Saturday and they seem a lot better than I'll ever be on a bike, had super corsas on my previous bike,ZX6R,they were great but got the Michelins in the hope of a bit more mileage out of them, don't ride in the rain as I'm a woss!
