Somebody should make a new Delorean Clone - jap electrics, VW build quality and the engine from an Alfa
there is an american place that is putting porsche engines in them and upgrading the kit. they can do 130 after the mods which is good considering the weight of them.

this was given to me by the dealership owner at a DMC owners club meet a good few years ago.had it hanging on the wall ever since. they are all the upgraded engine ones, and he said the red one is the worlds fastest one....not saying that just because its red

we had a group of de lorean owners in whitby last month, there was 11 of them all parked up together, i had only ever seen 1 in person before that
there is a couple around here.a friend of mine bought one for 10k about five years ago. the good thing about them is a quick buff and they look like the they did the day they left the showroom.just a lot of work in them to get the doors to close and open properly along with the ropey handling, underpowered engine etc etc, proper Irish car :s
There was 40 of them I believe.... Not often you see 1!! Quite a few pics floating around from that day on piston heads etc, ill try and dig out the one he sent me.... Very similar to yours Great pic btw
They were trying for 70, but obviously, a lot of them broke down on the way. The parade lap sounded nice though. A few more from the day.
