Had the bike since June now and decided today it was filthy and i was going to give it a good clean. Well after 4 hours here's the result.

4 hours!!! Whats did you do?

I havent had my bike long, a week now, but after every ride or so [especially in the wet] i give it a quick blast with the karcher but have been wanting to give it a proper clean...may next time the sun is out but its hard deciding whether to clean it or ride it! lol

Looks very nice mate, would you consider putting on smoked headlight tints for a more meaner look?

Mo, i've got headlight covers on that are slightly smoked but i think any darker would attract the attention of the unwanted.

I started off with a warm wash, followed by a clean cold rinse and chamois dry. I then cleaned and lubed the chain. Cleaned every where that could be gotten to. Autosol on all the bare metal work. I then used gt85 to clean all the dark plastic and metal work including frame. The bike was then treated to a coat of Autoglym super resin polish and then i used a new wax i've just bought to finish it off. Probably spent 20 mins taking photos ha ha.

You missed a bit bottom of the shock, and the guy who made your reg plates on both car and bike needs sacking or I need glasses, seriously that is a proper clean bike, you won't want to ride it now in case it gets dirty.

Looking very nice Glynn, especially that hugger!

Still got those rear pegs on though, do they get used at all?

The hugger has saved my rear shock and a lot of cleaning. Pegs still on as young lad likes to come out occasionally however I try to get out when he's at school ha ha. I toyed with the idea of taking them off but had no infill plates.
