I thought my bike looked great after a good wash, i normally use wax but tried Yosimoto Purple Helmet cleaner which ive had in the back of a wardrobe for years and only used odd time to clean my helmet, but i think it created a good deep shine on my bike without alot of effort even used on all plastics and seats!

Looking good. Got some wax on its way, hopefully it shines as well as yours is.

You might regret polishing your seat - last time I did that first time I hit the brakes I shot up the seat and nearly onto the tank. I don't go near the seat now with any polish.

Cheers for replys, yes i know the name of that product is a bit 'oh matron' but it does the job and it smells great too! This time it took for ever because it had about 3500mls of European touring dirt on it, should have taken a before shot you wouldnt believe it was the same bike. Used paraffin on wheels (toothbrush etc), lower cowl and chain and then washed so took about 2.5 hrs. WD40 on chain to get rid of water then leave for few hours and then put on chain lube.

Yeh,luckily the front doesn't get as dirty as the rear, but the discs do get in the way.
