There is a longer video of this incident posted elsewhere on t'internet and the guy does not die. He can be seen moving about on the floor. I don't think he get any sympathy from the owner of the bike either looking at the longer version
Someone on another forum I am on is Brazilian and translated some of it. The rider was definitely not sympathetic. Will do a copy and paste later if I get a chance.
The thief says 'Stop, stop, stop. Get off. Give me the alarm fob. Give me the alarm.' The rider says 'Here, take it, take it. The alarm is here, there you go, take it. I'm not armed. I'm not police. Just take the bike.' When the police shoots him there's a lot mumbled that I can't quite make out. At one point the rider says 'You go about stealing from people, now if you die you're going to steal in hell son of a bitch, I hope you got o hell' Then the biker moves his helmet and the thief says something aloft he lines of 'Help me, I'm dying' and the rider says 'I hope you die, we'll leave you there to die, if you think you can just go about stealing from people. Why don't you just get a job? Do you know how hard I had to work to buy that bike? Why do you think you can just steal it? I hope you die and go to hell son of a bitch.' The thief seems to be asking for help and the bike says 'Now it's 'Sir', 'Sir'. When you were stealing my bike you didn't call me 'Sir'.' Then the biker says that everything was recorded and that he hoped they'd catch the other thief too. Then he turns his camera off.

Would want him to suffer first, tell him to call his mate while standing on his wound and do him too when he arrives.
and what do we learn from this? work hard to achieve something - try to get it the "easy" way and Karma will fuck you back.
