what an absolute piss take, with 3 meetings at Brands, that's 7 races, this circuit (baring Knockhill) is the furthest for everyone to get to , we live in the west country, and Brands is 140 miles away, we are nearer to flippin Donington. just give shakey the 2014 title now as far as i am concerned, (sat in the grandstand at Silverstone and they were all Shakey fans) so come on Alex, "Oh, after Tommy Bridewell of course. Lol !!. early start tomorrow. pick up me guest tickets and a great weekend in prospect.following Filip Backlund and Victor Cox in 1000 Superstocks, with Ian Lougher Racing, got a great pic of me holding the cup with Filip at Silverstone, i think 1 and 2 sewn up and hopefully 3.with Filip.
If Shakey wins the 2013 title he said he wants to have a crack at WSB.So that grandstand lot will probably go to a WSB meet.He is looking at Kawasaki teaming up with Tom Sykes if he can, fingers crossed.
What's bad news for some can be good news for others in some ways. Brands is not too bad a ride from me, but it does seem a bit of an advantage for the local racers. Hope Shakey gets into WSB, I never used to be a fan of his a few years ag,o but in the last two years I have warmed to him and he has ridden exceptionally well and deserves a WSB ride.
Agree with Exfire on Shakey I also never really was a fan " A bit like Tommy Hill" but in the last couple of years the fact that even when he loses or comes off he never moans or slags anyone off and has the heart of a lion .On Brands Hatch we can't complain too much up here as we have Oulton Park and Donnington .So don't write off Alex Lowes Shakey might still be a touch sore from his off two weeks ago .Hope all have a good safe ride and may the best man win .Ps is Brookses bike That slow?
funny how Paul Bird said on tv that Shakey was riding in BSB in 2014,but Shakey was quick to say "on his twitter i think" that there was certainly no "done deal" yet.
Shakey told me "Thats it I've done enough in BSB, I need a new goal if I win it this year" The weekend after he told me that, the commentator on Eurosport was trying to get information out of him as to what he is doing next.He kept his cards to his chest. He will walk away from Paul Bird if he doesn't go with him to WSB.We will know in the next week or two after they sit down and talk.
