Had today booked off from work for a while. Weather aint too bad, lovely sun with the odd light shower, nowhere nr the storms down south.

So thought id give me girl loads of TLC

TAKEN ME about 5 - 6 to give her a good seeing to ;)

Bottom fairings n rear hugger off

    2 x of washing

Dried her off whilst shes running to dry up the internal bits that are hard to reach, god i kove the sound of that Racefit growler :)

WD40 fir all the metal bits yep inc the discs, as it will dry off by time im out on her again n never had issue cleaning discs with it.

    Mr Sheen for the plastics

Now just having a cuppa whilst admiring me handiwork n admiring the lovely curves n polished bodywork.

Anyone else spend hrs cleaning in the man cave n love it??

much prefer to ride it to be honest, I do clean it because I have to, but not because I like to, which Is why I don't ride in the rain much, to much bloody cleaning to do :)
can't see the joy in cleaning anything, now if we are talking about stripping the bike down and fiddling with the mechanics, to keep it running well or better, that's a different story :)

though I will say that I doubt you will ever my bike looking dirty ;)

I wouldn't say as much as riding but I do enjoy looking after the bike, any excuse to skulk off into the dinning room.

I really don't mind the cleaning part, i normally wash and wax it after every ride out.

I tend to use this time as a check over of my bike, making sure i have not picked up any nails or other objects in the tyres, oil level, lights etc, this way when it's time for the next ride out i can just jump on it and go knowing everything is as it should be when i left home

Most days I hate cleaning the bike. There are the occasional times though, probably only twice a year when I actually enjoy it. Much prefer riding it.

Never take fairings off though to clean underneath. I clean what can be seen and forget the rest, sloppy I know but I just can't stand the hassle.

I hate to admit this, but I used to enjoy cleaning my Ducatis and my Brutale, probably because they looked so stunning. I like the look of my bike but it just does not inspire me to gaze at it lovingly like the ones I mentioned did.

i'm always so late in from a ride out i dont have time to clean it after!! have to sling it in the garage and go inside to apologise to lisa..... lol

cleaning is ok, sometimes a chore.. although might go and chuck a bucket over the R1 because it's bogging from getting wet on the last two ride outs ha ha some of you lot would have a meltdown if you see it ;)

Riding first of course but I don't mind cleaning it ! mainly because I am looking after my investment ! My game is crawling around under the bike with wonder wipes and getting into all the out of reach crevices .

I dont really like cleaning, but it has to be done....but i go as far only washing and a bit of wax...still haven't gone to detail like some of you lads do.

I try and make it a bit fun and get my son involved :)

I'm with Simon I won't ride in the rain because I hate cleaning it so much. I come back after a ride and wipe it down with a damp sponge and then dry it with a towel, seems to bring the bike up lovely. Occasionally I'll polish the bike but I have to really be in the mood.
