The problem is the dust seals! They grip the pistons and stop them from returning into the caliper when the lever is realised, the only way you can stop it is to remove the pistons and lube the dust seals with red rubber grease but even then the OEM calipers are prone for pads dragging the discs. The best cure is to bin them and run M4s
Spot on Arthur! I shall be purchasing some for the ZX10 over the Winter period. Here's some for a CBR from the same place I'll be ordering mine from. Caliper Kit Brembo M4 108 Honda CBR 600 RR/ 1000 R/ 1000 RR + Bolts | eBay
I took the levers off mine, made no difference. Please let me know if the brembo helps, will dar me spending 250 quid on a hunch
Since getting the warrior lift I've noticed my fronts are dragging quite a bit. Only fitted pads in May and needed put new ones on the other week.( I do about 1500miles a month). The dragging has probably caused a small amount of warping of my discs Also noticed my lever is not returning fully therefore my brake light occasionally stays on! not sure if the cause is the MC or the callipers. Either way once I pay off the christmas 'mortgage' the OEM stuff is gonna be replaced by some RCS and M4 bling! just how am I gonna hide this from the wifey
