Just a quick hello from Raymondo in Rochdale Hi folk's, this is my first 1000RR forum post so please be gentle Rather than bore you to death I'll keep it short n sweet. I become the proud owner of a brand new 63 plate 2012 20th Anniversary Edition All Black (my favourite colour) Blade about 3 weeks ago. Its totally standard except for heated grips, for my goosed hands, Pazzo Stubbies as I love em, rear hugger & set hump. I've just mounted a Ram mount in the head stock whole ready for my Garmin Zumo 360LM Been riding a fair bit now, well 33 years to be exact. I'm know as Raymondo to my MancRider mates or Jap & even The Wandering Walton - Happy with any tbh. I remember Bruce telling me about you guys at Squires as he was spending a long weekend up in Scotland with you before his departure RTW. If you read his first blog you will have had the misfortune to have seen me & Mr T (Yamaha XT1200Z) in one of his photos. Reading through a fair few posts I'm really chuffed to have joined. I do write a fair bit about my biking exploits in the Wandering Walton's Blog (I do not seem to be able to add a link as yet but feel free to Googe it). The idea behind returning to the Honda (bought the CBR1000F back in 1987 hence the returning to my Honda roots) was to calm my 'Mile Munching' ways a bit as Mr Raymondo is getting a bit tired of me vanishing. So here's hoping to meet some of you guys in due course out and about. I ride Derbyshire and the Lake District A LOT! Plus I do have a tendency to take off every now and again Please feel free to give me a shout any time your out and about, garage doors are always opened for welcome visitors and a brew readily available. Cheers Raymondo
