Hi guys Just a quick update. After a long time waiting I took delivery of my new CBR1000RR (2013 model). I know you guys have the 2014 already, but this is Thailand. I waited 8 months for delivery for this bike...! Happy with the bike so far (apart from it being Japanese spec and restricted to 180Kmh). I changed the tyres for some decent sticky rubber on the day I picked the bike up as I got some cash back on the Bridgestones fitted as stock. I put on some Pirelli Sp V2's on the bike. I went for the 200 rear, rather than the 195. Will this change the handling much? (Your input appreciated here). I'm looking into making the bike full power and I now understand what i need to do to achieve this. Euro spec ECU is on its way, I already have the Euro spec velocity stacks, all I need to do now is open up the left side ram air vent (which is blocked off) and change the exhaust. I'm picking up a Yoshimura R77 Slip-on when i go back to the UK this October.
