This set up will better improve the braking.
Double banjo set up, with braided lines. Good brake fluid. You've cracked it.

how easy was the rear brake? I've just fitted a braided line, and am having a nightmare bleeding the rear brake, I just can't get it right....... got to be air coming in from somewhere......

Rear brake was no problem, its as good as was before, which to be fair is poor. Make sure you open the bleed nipple right out, I found I was not, once I gave it the extra half turn, was done in no time. If you open the reservoir cap and jam lever down its said to help remove air bubbles. Same as cable tie brake lever to the handlebar for the front.

mines sorted now, the problem was with the rearset from gilles, the brake adjuster was way off, that's why it seemed to feel soggy, but when adjusted properly it was as hard as it was before. I have nevered used the brake before, so don't really know how bad it was, I just need it to get through scrut on trackdays

Remember to torque them up after fitting 20-33nm, I will have mine checked over by my brother before I get back on the road.

Not meaning to put a damper on things here, but with your brake lines rubbing against your forks (pic 3), it will rub the coating off of the fork stantion. You would be better re-positioning the banjo bolts to direct the lines away from the forks.

Banjo bolts, there that tight can move the bike on the paddock stand. Was shocked how much these things need, I set torque wrench to 20 and gradually moved up to 30.

Where about (roughly) are you from mate. I'm from the Central belt also. (just moved up towards Aberdeen in the last 6 months). Originally from just south of Hamilton.

Why are you torquing the banjo bolts up so much?

Most manufacturers recommend about 23nm for the banjo bolts!

I didn,t notice that, I check it out, upside down forks should not be any travel in the upper braided hoses. Left plenty travel at the bottom, Colin from Stirlingshire just outside Stirling, we should meet up next year.
