Riding skills can be displayed in many different ways! watching the road racers at the NW200 battling against each others and the IOM where they are racing against the road and the clock. But that what I just watched was senseless to the fact that they had no control over all the other traffic infront. And too be honest no car driver however observent they were could be expected to see that eejit coming.Maybe I just getting old!As for riding in jeans and runners!Need I say anything! Its the poor Ambulance drivers that have to shovel them up off the road!
I've done 160+ on the autobahns....and tbh.....I found it pretty hard to keep out of the windblast. Couldn't sustain it for more than a minute or so. Can't say I found it much fun either.
Just move to Germany and you will get used to drive like that. Anyway , you cant drive as fast as you want on all German "Autobahn", you have to know the right places to go. 120 mph plus its normal and the average speed, if there is little traffic. Best time to drive 170 mph plus are Sunday mornings and during the night of course, there is almost no traffic on the Autobahn.
