took bike out today couldnt wait first off battery was goosed had to charge it up bad idea though roads are terrible not a dry spot anywere
Took mine out Thursday and Friday after the frosts had gone off the roads. Found a few dry lines but out in the sticks here the roads are not good this time of year. Loads of mud and gravel due to all the heavy rain. Managed to give the old girl a bit of a blast though and the brakes got a good work out just before the surface changed to wet/damp/muddy/gritty. The pheasants and squirrels seemed totally suicidal, but despite their best attempts at getting under my wheels I managed to miss them. Have to be careful of the deer as well, they start to move around a lot now searching for food. I don't want a repeat of 2012.
Went out with my son yesterday, had a good local rag around. Out again today with the guys from the village, waited for the frost to go at 10.30 and did a brunch run to Clacton. One poor sod had a puncture but promptly repaired. Good weekend all round.
