After reading Alblade's thread about the chest mount, I knocked this up this morning to demonstrate some of the mounting positions that can be used. I prefer the suction mount on the fairing view the most, it gives a good sensation of speed. Please don't laugh at my first attempt at riding the mountain at the TT. I did improve as the week went on you know
Good vid shows the options nicely. Tried all of them appart from chest mount.. I also tried a swinging arm mount once. Forward on 1min 50 to get to the riding
Thanks Rob, very useful video As a addition to your thread you may find this also interesting http://1000rr.co.uk/general-1000rr-discussion/15182.htm
Ah yes. When I get out on the bike I'll take some pics. Trying to think of something inventive. There's a fella on another forum who is doing a DIY gyroscope, that'd be cool but may cause motion sickness.
Please do, i'm trying to build up a collection of ideas. I'll soon have 'em covering the bike like little fairing sliders
