Today I took the plunge and fitted the Sato Racing Street Hooks. Here's a full fitting breakdown. I'm no mechanic so sorry if the instructions are a little basic but may help someone thinking of fitting them.

Have you tried putting a pillion up on the back with the sato hooks on?

Just wondering what difference they/you would feel as the hooks have lowered the original position by a good bit. :)

Guess the sato hooks could be used to strap the bike down for transport but there main purpose is to turn the removal and reinstall of the rear pillion pegs back into a job taking a few minutes rather than the hour or so each time to remove or reinstall the standard pillion pegs! :)

Can't help but really like the black Blade!

To Jap_STi_3: what tank bag is it on your bike? How many miles have you done with it on and is it not "in the way" a bit?

Very nice and good to see the hooks in action. I have a Moto Lug which I use when Mrs W wants me in the VW with the family when travelling places. LOL She put her foot down a few years ago when traveling to the lakes every weekend and she would arrive 2 hours before me....... "It's them back roads and dodgy sat nave Love" didn't wash! No idea why LOL

    Sorry to hijack the thread

Who made the seat trim and tail. Was it easy to convert it to allow for tail light and numberplate?
