I use one of these, but get the right size and dont use a spanner to tighten it up. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1Pcs-13mm...651?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5d4783294b
Depends if your using oem or aftermarket filters? if oem I'd get the honda oil filter remover, k&n has a nut on the end so easy to remove
It's for my ZX10R Tracker if that makes a diff? The Blade just goes to the Dealers as it's not a year old yet and I'll probably swap it out before it's 3 years old.
I have my honda one as I only took it at 580 miles and I'll do then myself now . It also fits my zx6r http://bit.ly/1eEalWp
I ve always used the strap and cam universal type on oem filters. Its just a handle with a cam end and a flatened ring and a thick canvas strap. you wrap the strap around feed it thru the ring and the cam works against the filter body to tighten the strap and turn the filter. They can be used for tightening up too but be careful as they easily dent the filter. Only cost £8 ish from halfords.
I had to put a screw driver through the oem honda 1 as it wouldnt budge. K&N on now so no problems next time
