Infill/Heat Shield

Im looking for a carbon fibre infill/heat shield for 2013abs blade......

Top money will be paid or point me in the right direction please....

I have a feeling this is what im looking for, however does anyone know if this will fit with the Akro?? Or is it a case of buying it and fiddling about to make it fit???

Yep that's what you want, well I've got one on mine (non ABS) with a full system. I guess it fits just the same on an ABS bike. I had to modify the brackets a little, but noting to much.

The fit isn't quite spot on Daz and because its made of metal (tin or steel) i noticed today after a couple of hours it had vibrated and rubbed against the link pipe leaving marks. They weren't to bad but i would imagine that after a few months there could be more serious damage.... Hoping the carbon will be less harsh.....

 

Ah right gotcha.. Your defo better with the carbon. I didn't realise yours was metal mate

 

Ok so that site no longer stock that heat shield, the search continues.....

 

I got mine from JHS Racing Bristol :: Motorcycle servicing, repair, dyno engine tuning, race preparation they were very helpful and the price was good too give them a call.

Cheers Ozz, just phoned them, they have none in stock and because Leo Vince don't make them anymore they say the same as everyone else ive tried thus far, they can't get them...

 

Anyone know where to get one for an akra ??

I know Dan bought a lower carbon fairing but cant remember where from.

 

I had a look on there,

After seat and Infills, exhaust shield
And possibly a seat cover and hugger

I like that think it would be a bit much as the bikes white :/ little bits will be for me I think

I am a magpie when I comes to carbon though it's my weakness

 

I had tried them for the 2013 but wasn't it stock.....

If anyone else is struggling or even interested these were the only people i could find that still have them for the newer models.... Sadly their in the US...
