I've read that quite a lot of people say that getting the suspension setup for you, your size, weight etc is a must. Where would you go to get this done and how much would it cost?

Got mine done for £40 at jhs racing in Bristol when I was down there meeting friends didn't take long

There is a place near Swindon that do the same for a similar price

Got mine first done on a track day by Parkitt racing ( I think they still service most of No Limits Trackdays) cost £40ish

Then got my front internals upgraded with K-tech to suit my weight, this came with a full set up, - did that at PDQ in Taplow near Slough

Apparently the bikes tend to be set very hard when they come from the factory. They basically adjust your rebound, sag and preload to get some suspension compliance. Gets the suspension working properly and keeps the tyres in contact with the road more of the time.

They tend to be set to for 12st people so can be soft for the average person

I do all my setup myself but refresh work etc I have done by Phil Crowe (PCR Motorcycle Developments)

If your not busting superstock times your pissing money up the wall on full cartridges on the front.

Weight matched springs & oil with decent rear shock setup will see wonders, in an ideal world new shock & front setup will see your ideal setup.

    Plenty of places about.
