It's not the SP fork, it's an aftermarket FGRT 204, the real NIX30 fork .....

I toyed with the carbon wheels idea but it has been pointed out to me many times that the gold wheels make the bike stand out!

yes you are right!. Looking closely this is not an SP. The disc carrier is deffo sc59 abs and the rest (brembo and ohlins) very much aftermarket. Still very tasty :)

Would love to try out carbon wheels to feel the difference

That depends if you want to use them on road or track? Friend of mine got carbon wheels on their Daytona believe they were Dymag's too and 1 month and 10 rides and a couple of pot holes later the wheels were knackered and back off the bike again. On track I would imagine they would make a bloody amazing difference but given the state of our roads I wouldn't risk riding them on our craters lol.

Hmm, mostly road and a few track excursions. Didn't think the carbon would be less robust, especially some of the sink holes I have to dodge on my commute! - might just put them lower down in the wish list!

It's mine. Down at PDQ for a few mods. I've had the Dymags on for while now without any issues so far.

Blimey that's one hell of a journey!. Not too many ABSs out there with Brembos I can only name one other (ColinBR)
and good to know the FGRT 204 comes with a provision for the speed sensor:).

I'll be @ PDQ in the next few days for a bit of CBR luvin', nothing fancy just a headstock bearing!

The forks will have been machined to fit the Brembo as they don't fit from the factory 5mm to big ... HPK and GP callipers will fit though .. If you don't fancy machining the forks or callipers like I didn't want to

Yes, PDQ are not local that's for sure but I've used them before and the service is excellent. Yes, the forks required machining to fit the M4's. Looking forward to seeing the bike when completed now.

    Very nice mods mate.
Did you bypass the ABS system or did you also keep it and add the Brembos.

I've kept the system along with the Brembo's. Honestly the best brakes I've experienced.

Thanks Colin, yes, I've kept the ABS. Pleased to hear yours have been a success, hopefully I'll have no issues with mine.

Made the trip worthwhile so getting the FGRT's, TTX 36 mk2 and Brembo's. Also getting a service and a HM GP Quickshifter fitted. I've been saving for a while so time for some mods for the summer.

You'll need tank grip like tech spec or the stomp grip.
I've near bust a nut the last twice I was out on the bike.

Do you know how much they charge to machine the forks to for the M4s by any chance ?
