I was determined not to subscribe to BT Sports but I could resist and I'm so glad I did it's £15 per month well spent in my book! I don't drink much so I thought sod it and coverage is looking excellent also a lot more interviews and information than I thought would be on there! Also just got myself a new Panasonic 3D Tele and Blu ray which are totally awesome! So there you have it!.... So far so good! I'm one happy bunny!
Same here, Trev. I've been watching some of the old races and documentaries about the MotoGP already. Looks pretty good. In HD too. The way that Virgin have jigged around my bill it's actually worked out cheaper than what I was paying before plus I've got Tivo, loads more HD channels etc. Well happy.
The app seams pretty awesome too the BT adviser said while your watching the race on your tv you can also view it on your smartphone and choose different cameras I donno if that include onboard as well but it'll be interesting to see what there is mate
I have sky HD with sports so went with BT infinity broadband so I get the BT sports channels and paid an extra 3quid a month for HD. Saved myself the 15quid a month bill buy swapping broadband providers
I may have to get it too just for the HD... free with vigin but dont get all the extra stuff, plus the quality is rubbish!
when I used to smoke 10 years ago I would smoke 15 a day that would now cost me in today's money £170 per month, so I reckon £15 for full HD coverage of MotoGP a very small price indeed
My phone and broadband is with sky but I just got it down to £20 per month, threatening to change providers works wonders but BT tried for about 20mins last night to talk me into fibre optic but to no avail!... I'll cancel it all down at the end of the season! I'm not into football so not much use to me after last race! The problem is they try to tie you into a contract! But I've got it on Sky HD so I can record it if needed
Same here. I held out as long as I could but in the end couldn't resist. Did have the online season pass before on MotoGP website but when accessing it would give you the results before you could access the video feed. Nuts. Not good when not watching live.
Another sucker here too! I just cancelled Lovefilm and used the money on BTsport, lol Sorry Lovefilm!
Not for me! I'm a stubborn old mutha and refuse to be blackmailed by BT into using their broadband! I heard a rumour it'll be shown on ITV 4 at a later date...... I can wait, besides it's the third best race series anyway!
Well if you ain't a fan then don't do it, but I hate watching highlights when I already know the result so ITV is a no no for me, roll on 3pm today for first live practice If you are a fan then the old saying "cutting your nose off to spite your face" seems to fit
Well I checked out the BT Sports app for my smartphone, laptop, etc and during the Motogp race there are 4 live feeds from the bikes so along with other feeds around the circuit! So we can ride on board with different riders! It's gettin better all the time!......Sweet!
So do you link the phone with your Tivo box? And you're just talking about the BT Sports app. Not a MotoGP app??
It the BT Sport app from Google play store for android or Apple for iPhone and I'm not sure about windows ain't got that far! But the app is a part of of the BT Sports package you just have to download it to what ever device you have that is compatible. And it plays separate to your tv! kinda complimenting your viewing
After moaning for months, I got the BT a few days ago. I think its very good so far; the TV & the App.
Just looked on my virgin and its not there!! Its all on BTSports2 not BTSports so cant watch it Going to have to spend the extra... Think I could upgrade to Tivo for £15 which included it..
You could try doing what I've done with Virgin. I was paying about £55 / month previously for 60mb broadband, phone and the L TV package. I phoned up explaining that I wanted BT Sport and they've jigged my deal around. They do something called Line Saver where you pay for your phone line rental for a year up front. By doing that you pay £120 instead of £190. They then upgraded my broadband to 100mb and put me on the XL TV package including the Tivo and loads more HD channels and the all-important BT Sport and I now pay £40 / month. All of which means, of course, that I'm now paying less overall for better package. Only pisser is having to pull out £120 for the up-front payment for the line rental.
I get the LD BT sports channels as a matter of course because I have the Sky package and BT broadband. THE HD channels are extra, even though I pay them both full whack each month. I only really watch the rugby and the bike racing, so it's ideal for me, but I won't pay the extra for HD. That's taking the piss. I'm drunk most of the time I'm watching it anyway, so it'd be wasted.
