CBR1000RR 2013 MIL codes - YouTube I think it's 2 long blinks, one short one, which would be 21. I've got a 2008-2011 manual and there is not 21 code Would it be different on 2013 blade? could some one check and let me know. Bike runs fine, MIL comes on after about 7 or 8 mins and just stays one, turn the key off and on and its gone.... Just read it out through the red connector under the seat by connecting the brown and green wires, is this right? Riding on wednesday, so would to get this sorted asap if possible thanks
Skippy, 2.1 refers to an error with the "map sensor performance problem". (code relates to all 08+ models) Causes: 1. loose or poor connection of the MAP sensor vacuum hose. 2. MAP sensor malfunction. Symtom fail safe function: Engine operates normally
Cheers Shiny, will have a check this afternoon. do you know where the hose goes?? at least it's a quick fix(hopefully) by only removing the tank cover!
Skippy why bother when its still under warranty?Take it in and let Honda look at it.Mine was the same,serviced last year put away for winter then first time out a flashing light.The thing is it would only do it certain times so I took mine in and it was a faulty sensor in the exhaust.
cheers LC, bike isn't under warranty, it's a cat b race track bike from the UK, don't think anyone here in belgium will look at it for free. But I like to do all my own work anyway, so will get cracking onto it in a bit, can't be that hard
