A court ordered compulsory Bike Safe is in order there! That's if his grey matter can take it in! Not for his sake but ever other poor sod on the road! No wonder us bikers get a bad name! The only lucky escape was the guy in the car! That twat will end up one of statistics and so will the knee down chimp that was riding with him!
I never bother with trying to get my knee down on the road because as I've had happen to me on countless roundabouts since I moved to essex is that twats in 4x4's think that even the vehicle on the roundabout does not have right of way and just pull out in front of you regardless of how tipped in or close you are to them. It if wasn't for a moment of rationality I would have caved the last one's face in it made me that angry but back to the point at hand both very foolish IMO. As has been previously said always trying to show off wonder if anybody explained to those two that Barry Sheen took the lap record at Brands without getting his knee down once who's the bigger hero for that? The bellend was very lucky not end up cut to pieces by the wire I'm half surprised the muppet wasn't wearing just jeans and t-shirt and trainers...
Was always going to happen to him. Look at his other video... wet and muddy roads, lots of junctions and he'd never stop if something pulled out on him. Plus at 1:40 he nearly bins it into the hedge!!! This guy has real trouble getting the bike to go where he wants it to!!!
All this echoes what I was saying to a mate the other night. I think us lot sometimes forget that the public highway isn't our own personal racetrack. There are people out there just trying to go from A to B in an unremarkable fashion and aren't expecting to happen upon some bellend dressed like Randy de Puniet coming the other way who seems to be under the misapprehension that he's doing a BSB qualifying lap. Open it up when you can see the road ahead. Calm down when you can't. That's always been my motto.
do we have a whip round now for his flowers are actually wait till he is in the coffin! The dudes a dick and screws it for the rest of us.....Dont watch any more cos the dicks earning money from the views! Grrrrrr
He gave up so early... think he was looking off the cliff instead of round the corner and the old fixation kicked in. Very bad riding but hes paid the consequences of it..
And bikers wonder why the police sometimes clamp down?? It is dickheads like this that ruin it for the other sensible riders. If you want to ride quickly and use the bike properly, go and do track days. I don't want to sound like a killjoy, but the roads are not the place to go and use a sports bike to its full potential or at least, try to.
Is it wrong that i'm almost tempted to report him in case they haven't seen it, lol! Fair enough you can ride fastish on the roads when you know the road, you can see right up the road and the weather is good then you stand the best possible chance of it going well. These guys are just idiots without any consideration and they'll end up killing an innocent person, i reckon a bike at 100+mph will do an awful amount of damage to a car and its passengers that pulls out on it on a country lane...
I've not! All i'm saying is there's a time and a place and it's plainly obvious that the video i posted isn't really the time or the place imo, lol! I wish i could spend my life on track doing it but alas funds don't allow that with a family
Don't we all wish we could just be on track all the time! Agreed - time and place, just think sometimes easy to call these vid riders idiots etc when I know I wouldn't want my ride outs recorded on YouTube.... As I'm pretty sure none of us are Angels - and everyone has diff perception of what's daft / fast / naughty / lunatic behaviour. And a lot of the above is too easy at times to do on a 1000cc superbikes
Totally agree Jimbo you can ride fast and be safe reading the road is the key! Observation and confidence ( not cocky arseyness) are paramount also knowing your limits and not getting drawn into racing with mates who may well be a more skilled riders! A recipe for disaster! Talk to your mates let them know how you ride... let them go if they're faster...tell them not to try and keep up if they're not! But most important of all pick your moments when you want to spank it! I've also done twatish things! I've top the Blade out which is a sentence rather than a fine and some points! I'm not boasting! I just got carried away and was a bloody idiot for doing so but I do know I would not have attempted it if there was other traffic on the road at that time! So I don't tend to give myself a hard time over it! Just keep it real, relax and most of all have fun you've nothing to prove
Nope and I've never followed you doing it, just like i've never looked in my mirror and only seen the belly-pan of a White & red R1
It's just important too know your limits and not push things past your confidence level Example when I went from loomies too Poole etc with this lot a good 50% of them were far better/faster riders than me, I had nothing to prove so went at my own pace and they were kind enough to wait for me every so often, decent mates won't push you and will wait. And funnily enough there was a red and white R1 that would come back and collect up the group and the wheelie off past me!
What I don't understand is why make a cock of yourself in front of other road users and then post it on you tube,I know very few people know who he is but anyone who watches will only have negative comments/thoughts about it,still it makes the rest of us think for a few minutes.
In respect of crossing the white lines and "taking the racing line" through corners etc.... I agree that the lines are there more for cage drivers to stop dangerous overtakes, but they still apply as in they are a reference to all riders and drivers that the bend being approached should be taken with a bit more care. Also, IMO, if you can take the corners without the need to cross the centre line then it's a far better test/show of bike control, so you might have to slow down a bit and as this numpty shows, anyone can ride in a straight line, it's the destination that differs....
Thank god he's on an R1 at least we have a chance to catch him on the straights.Unless of course you have a Repsol
