they give you a years warranty if it's faulty. so if it's broke by no fault of your own they either fix it or give your money back.

I'd be interested to see how folks are mounting this to their bike/lid/other and what mounting kit they've used. If you've done it, please share :)

I went out on my push bike last evening with the camera attached to the steering rod. The vibrations were massive making it impossible to watch without getting an epileptic seizure.
I also used class 10 sd memory card and the picture was getting frozen every few seconds. It could be down to different /wrong class of card. Hitachi recommends using up to 6 class so will try to get one this week and record a new clip.

I purchased one of these from Argos for £50.00, with the intention of sticking it on the bike, but I'm only able to record for about 3 minutes at a time in 1080p and unable to restart recording again, have a 64GB micro SD card installed and it's bugging the hell out of me. Probably doing something stupid but can't see what.

    Cheer's Dougie.

    Hello Dougie,

All the rear footage on this film is in 1080p from Hitachi camera

    https://vimeo.com/87323927

(I need to re-render it in HD and upload as that is really small for speed of render and upload)

Try a 32GB SD card as that is what I am using - they may not like 64gb cards - will still record for a long time on a 32gb card - longer than the battery lasts.

In the booklet for these it suggests the maximum size card is a 32gb? So it could be as alblade says.

Looking at 32GB card's, I picked up a spare battery also as I'm looking to do a few longer run's this season so want some decent footage.

    Thanks for the reply

Just bought a 32gb card and that was the issue it's recording away as I type this, will leave it running see what goes first battery or card.

Ouch! Did the camera survive? :(

I still need to come up with a mounting solution for mine - can't behind screen (tinted) and would prefer not to use 3M pads on my shiny paintwork, so I would like to bolt it on somewhere - but where? I was going to use a mirror mount until I realised the Blade mirrors stalks are a weird shape...
