Depends on how you view it? Do I have a hollier than thou attitude? No I don't I'm well aware that I have certain bad habits however the fact that the van driver failed to look in his mirrors prior to moving across my path is not my fault.
Lol no not at all dude. My point in producing the video was merely to illustrate the dangers that bikers face in London on a daily basis. I always filter at what I deem to be a sensible speed in case things like what happened in the video happen because I see it all too often down the A13 bikers/scooters flying through stand still traffic at 60+ (admitted that is an estimated speed as I filter at no more than 25-30 in stand still or slow moving traffic) giving them little or no chance of stopping. I consider myself lucky today a split second later and he could have well made contact with me...
Filtering = no more than 10-15mph faster than the queuing/slow moving traffic I'm crap at judging speed from videos but would guess you were doing more than that Van Driver still a van driver though, but hey it's London traffic and only to be expected.
You know you're right I am just watching the rest of my footage now from the ride and it looks faster than the speed is showing I wonder if I need to adjust settings on the camera a bit maybe the FPS is too high? Will have a play about tonight and try another one next week to see what happens...
Go Pro Hero 3 Black Edition dude. I dialled down the def to 720p as heard that is the best to run whilst riding as the 1080p just knackers the battery?
