Hi all, just a quick intro, i am currently trying to piece back together my sons fireblade after he trashed it and himself big style at the beginning of December 2013. I am a member of a number of owners clubs and have always found the members of all very friendly and helpful.

After his crash my son had destroyed every bit of plastic on the bike, went down the road on both side and to make matters worse before it came to its final resting place it hit a raised cast iron inspection cover which removed the alternator/stator and lump of crankcase. We aquired another motor (cheapest option), replacing all main bearing shells on new motor, so hopefully will be pulling his motor out this week and putting new one in, should be fun.
