Well, it was epically wet - real shame for all the hard work that goes into organising it. Took far fewer images than normal as it was just p!ssing it down ALL the time on Saturday, and Sunday am when it also become incredibly windy so they had to delay the start. Following video posted up already Link here for apple users: GOPR0010 - YouTube The stunning SP and Richards Stealthy Black blade Spot the 'if its moves and it shouldn't I just use duct tape' approach on Richards bike Mr 'I've got an SP and I'm gonna use it' about to head onto track - Good to catch up with Mark Clark (aka current leader in Hottrax endurance championship) and Hudson - we had a river running through the hospitality shelter so handy use was made of a loading ramp to try and stay dry. Felt for guys - huge drive up and their race bikes did not leave the van, they said simple pointless in the conditions and totally understand - why risk brand new bikes for little gain.
It's a shame the weekend was a bit of a washout mate but I'm sure you managed a good bit of banter and hopefully the charities didn't suffer for it. Im not sure sure what it's like on the island (they seem to have there own mini climate over there) but it's really cleared up here in rhyl about 25 miles along the coast from Anglesey. Andy B
Few more pics: Heading down the A55 towards the base: Saturday afternoon after giving up we went to the hotel which ended up as a '5 pints by 5 o'clock' afternoon - still managed a quick walk to the beach at Treaddur (sp?) Bay Bike parked up The photography set up - they gave 40% of all takings to the charity fund for the weekend - and did some amazing shots The 'photographers weapon of choice'
