Only stayed for the Saturday morning and couldn't take the bike out due to oil leak (appears to be from rocker covers) absolutely gutted even with the bad weather there was a fantastic atmosphere and some awesome riding plus bumped into Alblade (good luck with the blade mate and pleasure to meet you) ....... ....... so managed to get a few pics at work after !
Hope you get the oil problem resolved easily enough - as said if you want the Jap version try a 'Big Bang' R1 - or I'll bring mine over one weekend and you can have a play to see what you think Fantastic pictures from your work - They are a bit like 'my toys bigger than your one' - You should start a thread: 'Your bike with things you work with'
You are right about the atmosphere - its a little 'club' event , one that just happens to raise a HUGE amount of cash in the process. People really help each other out - end of day when 'security' is an sub machine gun and you are locked on the base you ain't gonna be too much of a fool
Sorry we missed you Simon but Restone and me spent ages looking for 1000rr'er, found Al and Scooby so we had a good chat. Petty you weren't there Sunday afternoon when things brightened up, got to stretch the SP's legs and had great battle with a Panigale 1199 in fast group, the SP been victorious
