Have to agree with that some what... And yes, id love to see Guy find that little something and get up on the top of that podium for once !
+1 for Guy he deserves a win but also McG to get some more wins under his belt I'd love to see him equaling or beating Joey's record! Obviously won't be this year but could be next year if all goes well! Donno how long McG will continue racing for But I'm defo rooting for Guy and hope it's his time this year
I would love to see McG smash Dunlops record in all honesty. I wouldn't say that MD has matured as a person accusing Honda of sabotaging his bike because he lost the senior race to McG last year? Grow up mate you were beaten by the better man on the day just accept that you lost and pick up all your toys off the floor....
Really hope McG is there, it would not be the same without him and it would also lessen MD's win in the Seniors I think MD has the potential to be one of the greats (providing he does not kill himself). I love the way he pushes a bike to it's limits and nothing will ever convince me that there was not something fishy about last years Senior race. MD just did not ride like he did in the other races, seemed to me his heart was not in it for some reason. As to personality, may sound wrong to some people but I really don't care what their personalities are like and that applies to all sports. All I am interested is the event itself and that the sport is competitive and entertaining. Whether I like them or not does not matter, I just like to watch people who are at the top of their game. If I had to mix with them it would be a different matter of course I have more problems with people who 'talk the talk ' but can't 'walk the walk'.
Well I would really love to see Guy win one, but I honestly think he is destined to be a 'nearly' man. McGuiness has to be there as he is rapidly becoming one of my all time favourite racers. I never really liked Michael Dunlop until I met him at the Manx. I had lost a few bits of my Ducati over the mountain (I know, cue jokes) and he let me into his pit tent and rummage through his kit boxes. He just sat there and drank his tea and chatted. Seemed very decent.
