Rattling noise from low revs

    I've been out on the bike a bit more now the weather is getting better and have noticed that when I set off and don't give it too much revs I hear a metallic rattle coming from the engine. It's quite loud and happens at around 3krpm. Now if I rev a little higher and slip the clutch a bit more it doesn't happen. My rr5 has 17k up it. Any ideas ?

    Or maybe the clutch basket if going with clutch?
    Does it do it in neutral?

    Cheers for the reply Martin, it only does it in gear under load at low revs

    I've recently had my CCT changed out and I still find the right side of the bike noisy and getting into 1st gear yesterday was a bit crunchy.
    How would I know if my clutch is needing replacing?
    RR6 with 26k
