oh dear

    Checked my oil "seemed" to be a bit low so grabbed the bottle and put 200ml in, having just let the engine idle for 5 mins then let it cool for 2 or 3 mins (what I should have done on the first check :rolleyes:) it appears the oil is WAY above max :eek: I also appear to have mixed Castrol 10w30 and Castrol 10w40

    What do I do now please ?

    if it was me I would drain the old oil out and start again

    Drain off the excess oil and don't worry about mixin 10w30 n 40 it will be fine! Job done! ;)

    Drain some out. I'm another who wouldn't worry about mixing the oil unless it was different types i.e. mineral + semi; semi + fully synth etc, and even then it would probably be ok.

    Just drain a tadge out.

    Semi & Fully will do no harm mixed.

    As already said, different grades isn't a problem, just drain the excess off and be happy running 10w33 lol
