I have 1 litre of Castrol Power 1 Racing leftover in its original 4L container,but it has been there for 2 years. It's been kept closed and stored in a cool dry place. Is it still ok to use? Would be adding it to more of the same doing an oil and filter change.
We've got 45 gallon drums of various oils at work which can last us upto 4-5 years and castrol have never mentioned to be mindfull of a shelf life, so would think you'll be fine. I'd use it. Andy B
Oil and it's core components are already thousands of years old! Don't thing another year or so will make a discernible difference!
