Hi all I'm a good friend of thefirebloke, we used to ride the Hawes road together at a leisurely pace I am looking forward to the news and gossip on the 1000rr forum. I used to love track days and have been away for a while but recently did a track day at Oulton with some of the 1000RR crew and look forward to many more. Cheers Raj

Hi Andy B and thanks for the welcome everyone! Well here goes, a little about me. I started riding in '97 and I met thefirebloke around '99 I think it was (riding at the speed limit of course), I had a Yamaha R1 at the time. I modded the suspension (Ohlins rear and fork internals) and did a lot of riding around The Dales and adventures in the UK (Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man) and Spain, France etc. and track days (UK and abroad). Got a bit carried away.....and mid-week evening blasts and weekend hoots with thefirebloke and other mates. Had so many great rides with thefirebloke and the best of times and great to catch up at Oulton, and meet his friends from here. I currently have a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K3 from new, 2003 in silver. Mods are Ohlins rear and fork internals from Kais, Brembo lever and master cyclinder. I have not done much riding over the last 7 years since 2007 as I got married and had 2 boys, none for the last 2-3 years. Then I did my first track day in 7 years at Oulton and I was nervous, but it felt great, it's ace! Looking forward to getting back into it but with a much more responsible head. Please tell me about you guys then I have a picture before we meet up at some point ;-)
Haha repsolwill, nice one! Sounds like he might be! He really likes this forum and talks highly about his mates on here so I asked if I could join. I have been out of the game for a while and it's great to catch up with Steve and I look forward to catching up sometime dude ;-)
